The smell of Halloween candy is in the air and your students are anxious to celebrate the spooky holiday in the classroom. What better way to get into the trick-or-treat spirit than with this cute as can be Ghoul Gang Halloween party!
Your little ghouls will shriek with delight as they see their classroom transformed into a creepy, colorful celebration complete with Halloween-themed class activities and a not-so-spooky, eye catching DIY Halloween Bulletin Board!
We turned our classroom tables into the perfect party space by setting them with ghoul gang paper plates featuring classic, cutesy Halloween characters including a jack-o'-lantern, black cat, mummy and Frankenstein's monster.
Ghoul gang paper cups held matching ghoul gang straws that our students loved. Each cup sat on a coordinating ghoul gang beverage napkin.
After the kids finished snacking on their sweets and treats, we quickly cleared the table and set out a few colorful, cool craft trays for our Halloween-themed activities! We started with our DIY Halloween Alphabet Build Cards! We created a Free Printable so students could trace the letters of the alphabet using candy corn!
We love that this activity helps with letter identification as well as their fine motor skills! You can find the full tutorial for the Halloween Alphabet Build Cards here!
The kids also tested their fine motor skills and counting skills while playing our Play Dough Spider Race Game! Each student was given a small portion of homemade orange play dough with a black striped paper straw stuck in the middle.
Everyone took a turn rolling their die to determine how many spider rings they had to place on their straw.
Whoever reaches the top of their straw first wins! You can find the step-by-step instructions for the Play Dough Spider Race Activity here!
Our activity tables sat in front of a monstrously cute DIY Halloween Bulletin Board! We used fadeless violet bulletin board paper as the backdrop for our bulletin board and trimmed it with double-sided awning bulletin board borders.
Black dot-to-dot uppercase bulletin board letters were used to spell out "these ghouls rule the school!" Find the full tutorial for the DIY Halloween Bulletin Board here!
The kids were most excited for our cubbies full of ghoulish prizes!
The cubbies were decorated with glittered black boo letters that we adorned with ghosts from the Halloween picks and a few candy corn lollipop rings. We used Ghoul Gang Cutouts to fill up the back of each cubbie and break up all of that white space.
Our students were able to take home a variety of goodies including Halloween stencil bookmarks, Halloween trick-or-treat maze puzzles mazes and ghoul gang party blowouts all in their ghoul gang treat buckets.
They also took home a ghoul gang stationary set and a ghoul gang slap bracelet in these ghastly mini ghoul gang tote bags!
