Although students get excited about almost every holiday, there's no denying that Halloween ranks number one in our classroom! The costumes, the candy...what more can a kid ask for?! That's why we try to do just a little bit extra for our annual Halloween Class Party. This year we surprised out little ghouls and goblins with a cute as can be party and a few Halloween-inspired minute to win it games, which they adored! Here's how we brought this day of fun together for our students.

We always like to keep our classroom parties cute but simple, so disposable party ware is a must!

We used Spooktacular Spider Paper Dinner Plates and paired them with color coordinating Basic Boo Luncheon Napkins.

Rather than using the students' typical water bottles, we surprised them with these fa-boo-lous Molded Ghost Cups with Straws, which they then took home as an added class party favor!

We sat the water bottles on top of black Spider Web Doilies for a spooky, little touch.

We added in a few pieces of thematic table decor including a Basic Boo Centerpiece and these cute Halloween Monster Tabletop Block Decorations! This tabletop block set was perfect because it came with four different characters; Frankenstein, vampire, ghost, and pumpkin!

After snacking on some ghoulish goodies, our class jumped at the chance to play our Halloween themed minute to win it games.

We displayed some of our game supplies on a set of school cubbies so the students could easily grab what they needed for each game.

A Letter Board saying "Halloween Minute to Win It Games" was placed front and center!

Our first game was called Skeleton Bone Shake. Each student would grab a Mini Boo Kraft Bag, give it a good shake and guess how many "skeleton bones" (Halloween Hershey's Kisses) were in the bag.

Once they made their guess, they could devour those delicious skeleton bones!

Next up was the M&M race game. Students grabbed a Black Candy Cauldron full of color coordinating M&M's and placed a few candies on a Pumpkin Orange Paper Plate.

They then used a Purple Striped Paper Straw to blow the M&M's across the Plate. Whomever blew the M&M's from one side of the Plate to the other the fastest was our winner!

Students held onto the Purple Striped Paper Straws for our Spider Ring race game. Kids used their straws to blow Colorful Halloween Spider Ring from one end of the table to the other.

Once the Spiders reached the other end of the table, students could either wear or take their Ring home as another favor!

Students used some of their STEM and fine motor skills for the Jack-O'-Lantern Cup stacking game.

Each student was given a plethora of Plastic Jack-O'-Lantern Cups and had to strategize the best way to build the highest tower without letting it tumble to the ground.

All of our Halloween minute to win it game supplies were showcased under our classroom bulletin board. We used Purple Fadeless® Paper and outlined it in Halloween Bulletin Board Trim. Chalkboard Bulletin Board Letters were used to spell out "we are so smart it's spooky!"

We decorated the bulletin board with Orange Paper Fans, Spooktacular Friends Honeycomb Hanging Decorations, Giant Dangling Ghost Swirls and additional pieces from the Basic Boo Centerpiece Set and then added some extra Spider Web Doilies and bats from the Hanging Honeycomb with Bat Halloween Decoration to the wall.

Our students all had a ghoulish good time at our not so spooky Halloween party and couldn't wait to go home and play our Halloween minute to win it games with their families! We hope you can work some of these clever ideas into your next classroom party.
