Metallic Book Rings

The Metallic Books Rings are a recent discovery of mine as I have begun to grow my library of QR codes. I simply cut apart the QR codes that my students will scan, laminate them, and hole punch them. Its super easy for me to insert a Metallic Book Ring through the punched holes and then hang them in our classroom library for my students to access. I group the QR codes by author and this helps my students find the books they want quickly! We also use the Metallic Book Rings for quickly binding classbooks and for storing our computer log-in cards!

I change out the card inserts in the Pocket Dice to match our theme and students take turns rolling the dice to determine how they will respond to my question. Here you can see students have rolled the Pocket Dice to tell about something they have seen in the location pictured.

Sweet Success Management Set

I’ve placed one of the “donut collectors” (as my students call them) on each one of our tables. Students at each table work together to earn the donut shaped tokens. Each time a table reaches a multiple of 10, the entire table can choose a prize from our classroom prize box! My students love encouraging each other to work together so that they can choose a small prize for their hard work!

Alphabet & Number Recognition Step Game

We LOVE practicing our alphabet and number recognition skills with the super cute Alphabet & Number Recognition Step Game! At the beginning of the year, we used this activity to help us sequence the letters of the alphabet and numbers, and we used it later in the year to help us say the letter sounds! When we flipped the “stones” over to the number side, my students placed the appropriate number of cubes on each number to check their number sense!
