- 1 Can Pineapple Juice
- Mix of Fresh Berries
- Mint
- 4 oz. Simple Syrup Mixture (1 c. Water to 1. c Sugar)
- 1 Can Spiked Seltzer
- 3 oz. Rum
- Ice
Start mixing up this refreshing summer aperitif by creating your simple syrup. Add 1 cup of water and 1 cup of white sugar to a sauce pan and simmer until the sugar is completely dissolved. Allow your syrup to cool completely before using it for your drink!
Start assembling your beverage by adding a lime wedge and a few sprigs of mint to each Mason Jar.
Now add 4 oz of the simple syrup to the Mason Jar and start muddling. This will really meld the flavors together and bring out that fresh mint taste. Don’ have a muddler on hand? No problem, grab a large spoon instead!
Toss in a few fresh berries of your choosing. Pro tip: Freeze your berries before to keep them looking nicer for longer and to help keep your drink cool without watering it down!
Place a few ice cubes in each Mason Jar to ensure your drink stays nice and cool. Add 3 oz of clear rum over your drink and give it a gentle stir.
Now add a few ounces of pineapple juice to create a tropical flavor. Add a little more if you don’t enjoy a strong drink or a little less if you came to party!
Top off your drink with a few splashes of spiked seltzer for a touch of extra flavor.
Garnish your drink with some extra lime wedges and a few extra berries. Add a chic Green Striped Paper Straw and enjoy!
We love how this summery recipe turned out and can’t wait to enjoy it all summer long! Serve it up with a Bright Pineapple Luncheon Napkin and set the scene with some cute Pineapple Cups and Large Palm Leaves. Looking for more summer drink ideas?
