- 1 Chocolate Cake Box Mix (or your choice of cupcakes)
- 1 1/4 c. Water
- 1/2 c. Vegetable Oil
- 3 Eggs
- 1½ c. of Soft Butter
- 3 tsp. Vanilla Extract
- 6 c. Powdered Sugar
- 3-6 tbs Milk
- Pink Food Coloring
- Black Decorating Gel

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and mix cake mix, egg and oil together. Bake for 12-15 minutes until done.
While cupcakes cool, make your frosting. Mix powdered sugar, butter, vanilla and milk together until smooth. Add one drop of pink food coloring, then squeeze some black decorating gel into the frosting and stir until you have a grayish pink tint.

Pour frosting into a cake decorating bag with a round tip. Tips that are sized between 5-10 are best for brains! Place bag in refrigerator until ready to frost cupcakes.

Frost one side of a cupcake to look like a brain. Make lots of squiggles and pile it high! Then add a line of red icing gel down the middle to look like blood.

Frost the other side of your brain cupcake. Add more frosting to the other side if needed.
