Very Vanilla Confetti Cupcake Recipe

If you are planning a cupcake-themed party you are definitely going to need a tasty recipe to keep guests happy. These Very Vanilla Confetti Cupcakes are always a winner. You can’t go wrong with these sweet and simple cupcakes. They are perfect just like this, but they are also the ideal blank canvas for those creative creations your pint-sized bakers will make in their own Cupcake Wars competition.

Ingredients
  • 1 box French Vanilla Cake Mix
  • 4 Tbsp Instant French Vanilla Pudding
  • 4 Large Egg Whites
  • 1/2 C. Sour Cream
  • 1 1/4 C. Milk
  • 1/4 C. Melted Butter (Slightly Cooled)
  • 1/2 C. Sprinkles
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. While you are waiting, line two 12-cup cupcake pans with the cupcake liners and set it aside.
Step 2
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cake mix and pudding mix. Set aside. In another large mixing bowl, beat together the egg whites, sour cream, and milk on low speed.
Step 3

Add the dry ingredients and beat until it is just combined. Once all ingredients are incorporated, add the sprinkles and beat once more for 15-20 seconds. Do not over mix.

Step 4
Spoon three tablespoons of batter into each cupcake liner and bake on the middle oven rack for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Insert a toothpick into one cupcake. Once it comes out clean, remove the cupcakes from the oven and let them cool.
Step 5

Once the cupcakes are cooled they are ready to decorate.
