- Plain Cake Donuts
- 2 Tbsp. Milk
- 1/2 t. Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1 c. Powdered Sugar
- 1 Can Gold food spray
- Rock candy
Place the milk, pure vanilla extract and powdered sugar in a small saucepan and cook over medium-heat, stirring constantly just until combined. You shouldn’t be able to see any lumps.
Transfer the glaze to a shallow dish. Dip the doughnuts into the glaze, one at a time, and set on a rack, glaze side up.
Put something underneath the rack because some of that glaze will drip off.
Let the glaze set for a minute, then spray with the gold food spray.
Sprinkle crushed rock candy over the donuts.
Place the rock candy donuts on a large serving platter lined with gold chocolate candy.
