Grab some cupcakes. You can use store-bought cupcakes or an easy box mix. We actually used this Cookies and Cream Cupcake recipe. You'll start by frosting your cupcakes. We suggest using fun frosting tips. We used a grass tip and star tips for these cupcakes to give our puppies more texture.

Next add the eyes. We love using edible candy eyes with some black gel frosting to give the puppy spots.

Make the puppies' noses with black gel or a Junior Mint® cut in half. Don't forget about the mouth. Using a little bit of pink gel give your puppy a cute tongue.

Now our puppy needs ears. We broke some sandwich cookies in half to create ears. We also used the black gel to create ears.

Now get creative and make all sorts of different puppies. The possibilities are endless!
Be sure to see the entire Puppy Birthday Party as well as the Pin the Tail on the Puppy Game we played and the Puppy Adoption Kits we gave away as party favors.
