Pink Velvet Pancakes with Champagne Glaze Icing


This recipe is a fun twist on the classic breakfast favorite; we've made pink velvet pancakes and created a delectable champagne glaze to top them off. This is one posh pancake recipe; that's as photogenic, as it is delicious!


20 to 30 min. Intermediate 6 to 8 Servings
Ingredients
  • 3 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 oz. white chocolate, grated
  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 Tbsp vanilla
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • Pink gel food coloring
  • Optional: Milk, to thin the batter if it becomes too thick
  • 1/2 c. champagne add more if glaze is too thick
  • 1/4 c. water
