Ingredients
- 1 Frozen Pound Cake Loaf
- 1 lb Fresh Strawberries
- 1 lb Fresh blueberries
- 4 C. Whipping Cream
- 1/2 C. Granulated Sugar
- 1 1/2 t. Pure Vanilla Extract
Step 1
Set out pound cake at room temperature to let it thaw for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Wash and hull strawberries.
Step 3
Dice strawberries to about the same size as the blueberries and mix together in a bowl.
Step 4
In a food processor, pulse together whipping cream, sugar and vanilla until medium peaks form. About 60-90 seconds.
Step 5
Slice pound cake into 1 inch slices then each slice into 12 cubes.
Step 6
Divide up fruit into 4 equal parts and place 1/4 of the fruit into one of the trifle bowls.
Step 7
Place a layer of pound cake over the top filling in all the edges.
Step 8
Spread half of the whipped cream over the top.
Step 9
Sprinkle with another 1/4 of the fruit.

Step 10
Repeat with second trifle bowl and garnish both with a sprig of mint.

Each trifle serves 4 so make as many as you need for your celebration! Your guests are sure to love them!
