- 1 Box of Cake Mix
- 1 Container of Frosting
- 1 Bag of Chocolate Melting Wafers
- 1 Tube of Sparkle Icing Gel

Start by mixing up the boxed cake mix per the instructions on the packaging. Any flavor will do! Once you’re ready to bake, place the mix into the star shaped cake liners and bake according to the timing on the box. Allow the cake to fully cool before moving onto the next step.

Using a sharp knife, carefully cut out the center of the cake, making sure to keep the trimmed piece intact.

Next, fill your cake with colorful glittering gel icing as a fun surprise.

Now, replace the piece of cake you trimmed off by pressing it back into place gently.

Once the cake piece is back in place, it’s time to add the icing! Fill a piping bag (or a plastic sandwich bag with the corner trimmed off) with your choice of icing and start piping the icing onto the cake.

Now that the star cakes are iced, place them to the side and prepare to melt some chocolates. Place the chocolate wafers into a microwave safe bowl and melt in 30 second increments, stirring in between, until the chocolate is fully melted and creamy.

Dip one end of a Pink Striped Paper Straw into the chocolate then insert it into the top of one of the cakes. Allow the chocolate to cool to ensure the straw stays in place.

Lastly, display your adorable no fuss star cupcake pop at your Twinkle Twinkle Little Star First Birthday Party and enjoy!
