- Family Size Frozen Pound Cake
- 1 Tub Creamy Strawberry Frosting
- 1 Tub Creamy Vanilla Frosting
- Variety Valentine Sprinkles
Let your pound cake thaw for 10 minutes. Thinly slice off each end and cut the entire loaf into 1/2 inch slices. Using a small 2" heart cookie cutter, cut three hearts out of each slice. Discard remaining pound cake.
Place half of the hearts onto a wire rack that is resting on top of a large cookie sheet. Remove lid and any foil covering from frosting tubs. Heat each one in the microwave for 30 seconds. Frosting will become thin and easy to pour. Using a spoon, pour a little frosting on top of half of the hearts.
Top each frosted heart with another heart cake and gently press down.
Generously spoon frosting over the entire heart cake making sure the top and sides are completely covered. If your frosting firms up in the tub, place back in the microwave and heat for 10 seconds until liquid again. Frost half of the hearts with vanilla frosting and the other half with strawberry frosting.
Immediately sprinkle the tops with Valentine sprinkles before the frosting sets. Let the cakes set up for 10 minutes and print off the printable tags. Cut each out with scissors and punch a small hole at the top. String 3 inches of Red Baker's Twine through and tie a knot. This can be placed on top of the Small Mini Cake Dome. Serve with Clear Mini Appetizer Plastic Forks.
