These Lavender Lemon Pound Cakes come together quickly, and they are heavenly and delicious! Additionally, when garnished with a sprig of lavender, they make a beautiful addition to the party table.

  • 2 Sticks Softened Butter
  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 3 c. Self Rising Flour
  • 5 Eggs
  • 1/2 t. Baking Soda
  • 1/2 t. Salt
  • 8 oz. Sour Cream
  • 1/3 c. Fresh Lemon Juice (About 2 Large Lemons)
  • Lemon Zest of 2 Lemons
  • 2 t. Dried Lavender Flowers
  • Lavender Stems
  • To Make Glaze:
  • Juice from 1 Lemon
  • 2 Tbsp. Hot Water
  • 1 c. Powdered Sugar
