- Cake Donuts
- White Melting Chocolate
- Almonds
- Cherry Flavored Tootsie Rolls
- Yellow Food Marker
- Black Gel Frosting

Cut little triangle shapes with a knife on the sides of the donut and remove the piece.

Melt white chocolate and dip the large end of two almonds in the chocolate. Insert chocolate ends into the openings on the donut. The almonds will make the ears on our Hello Kitty Donuts.

Once the chocolate on the almonds has hardened, turn the donut over and dip the ear side in the melted white chocolate. Rotate the donut to create a nice line and cover the top half of the donut. Set the chocolate covered donuts to the side and let harden.

Roll out several Cherry Tootsie Rolls with a rolling pin. Use a mini heart shaped cutter to cut out two hearts per donut. Overlap the tips of the hearts to create the bow for our Hello Kitty Donuts. Add the bow next to the right ear on the donut.

Create a nose at the bottom of the chocolate in the center of the donut with a yellow food marker.

Use black gel to draw two eyes onto the donut above the nose.

The last step is to create whiskers with the black gel icing. Now you have the perfect themed treat to show off at your Hello Kitty Party! Don't miss out on our tutorials for DIY Hello Kitty Canvas Totes and Hello Kitty Headbands!
