- Juice of One Grapefruit
- 1/2 tsp. Brown Sugar
- 1 oz. Gin
- Prosecco (fill remainder of glass)
Squeeze the juice of one half of a juicy red grapefruit into a gold scalloped champagne flute, taking care to remove seeds, if any.
Next, add the gin to the glass. It's nice to keep a few beverage napkins handy to handle any drips that may occur!
Add the brown sugar to the glass and mix thoroughly. The drink will take on a lovely deep hue of pink that's perfect for a Pink and Copper Christmas party.
It's time for the Prosecco! Use your favorite brand to add a delightful fizz to this drink that melds deliciously with the gin and grapefruit. The brown sugar takes a bit of the sour taste away from the grapefruit resulting in a spirited sip that your friends and family will adore.
For an extra fancy upgrade, spray jumbo gold jingle bells with a little silver glitter spray, then skewer on a bamboo skewer with a wedge of ruby red grapefruit. Place atop the beverages and get ready for the compliments! (remember if you do this, the grapefruit piece is not edible)
