- Sugar Cookie Dough (your favorite homemade recipe or one from the grocery store)
- Frosting
- Sprinkles
- Optional: Food Coloring

Roll out your sugar cookie dough to your desired thickness.

Use the larger size cookie cutter to cut out your "donuts". Use your smaller cutter to make the "hole", for this step we just used a small plastic cup to make the hole.

Place on cookie sheet and bake according to the package or your recipe directions. Remove from from oven and let cool. Add your frosting. You can easily add food coloring to your frosting and have several shades, we choose to just keep ours white.

These cookies are not only an easy to treat to have ready for your party, but you could also bake them ahead and let your little guests do the decorating. Pop them into cute take home treat boxes, and your party favor is done! Younger children might like to set up a “donut shoppe” and hand out their treats to their guests. Have fun making this sweet treat!
Be sure to check out our Donut Party for lots of inspiration from a DIY pom pom garland to my DIY donut tote bag.
