- 2 c. Flour
- 2 c. Granulated Sugar
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. Baking Soda
- 2 tsp. Vanilla
- 1 c. Sour Cream
- 2 Eggs
- 1 c. Butter
- 1 c. Water
- 6 T. Cocoa Powder
- 1 c. Powdered Sugar
- 2 tsp. Vanilla
- 4 c. Heavy Whipping Cream
- 12 Crushed Oreos
- 8 Chopped Oreos
Mix together flour, sugar, salt, baking soda in a large mixing bowl.
In a separate smaller bowl, add eggs, vanilla and sour cream. Mix together.
Add sour cream mixture into the dry mixture until mixed well.
In a small sauce pan, combine 1 c. butter, cocoa and water. Melt over medium heat stirring constantly. Allow cooling for 15 minutes, or place the saucepan in the fridge for 5-7 min.
Add 12 Oreo cookies to a large Ziploc bag and crush with a rolling pin.
Add chocolate mix to the cake batter. Mix well at medium speed for 2 minutes. Add in the crushed Oreos and mix well.
Pour cake batter into a jelly roll pan lined with parchment paper. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Don't over bake.
In a large mixing bowl, whip 4 cups heaving whipping cream until the cream is stiff. Add in powdered sugar.
Frost the cake with the whipped topping. Sprinkle on chunks of Oreo cookies.
Serve with a glass of ice-cold milk. Enjoy!
