- 6 Boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups Panko breadcrumbs
- 6 eggs
- Vegetable oil
- 12-24 Frozen waffles
- Syrup
- Butter
- 1Tbsp seasoned salt
- 1/4 Tbsp salt
- 1/4 Tbsp pepper
- 1 Tbsp Old Bay
- 1 Tbsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp onion powder

Using a sharp knife, cut each chicken breast into strips.

Mix all seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Old Bay) together in a bowl. Coat both sides of the chicken with the seasoning blend.

Place some flour, panko breadcrumbs and six beaten eggs in 3 separate low bowls to create a breading station. Coat each piece of chicken starting with the flour, eggs, then finally the panko breadcrumbs.

Fill a skillet half full of vegetable oil and heat on medium until oil is hot. In small batches, place each coated chicken piece into the hot skillet being sure not to crowd the pan. The chicken pieces should not be touching. Cook on one side for 4 minutes. Then turn them over and fry for an additional 4 minutes.

Remove the chicken from the pan and place each on paper towels to drain off the excess oil. They will be a golden brown. Continue to fry the rest of the chicken in small batches until you have cooked all the chicken.

Place frozen waffles on a baking sheet pan and place in a pre-heated 425 degree oven for 3 minutes. Flip them all over then bake for an additional 3 minutes until they are warm and crunchy. You will need 1-2 waffles for each serving.

Remove the hot waffles from the pan and place 1-2 waffles on an ivory scalloped edge dessert plate layered on top of an ivory scalloped edge dinner plate. Immediately place a pat of butter on top of the waffle to begin to melt.

Place 2 pieces of chicken strips on top of your waffle. Serve right away with hot maple syrup.

If serving these at a party, be sure to have plenty of fabulous looking disposable partyware like these scalloped edge paper plates and metallic gold cutlery. Whip this up for your family or friends. They are a definite win in my house!
