- 4 c. vanilla ice cream (8 scoops)
- 1 c. apple cider
- 1/2 c. caramel sauce
- 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 pinches nutmeg
- whipped cream
- 10-12 pieces caramel candies
- chopped nuts, sliced apples and caramel sauce for garnish
In a wide glass bowl heat caramel candies in microwave for 10 seconds. Keep heating in 10 second intervals until creamy. Stir until smooth.
Dip the rim of your glasses into the caramel. Roll the glass rim covered in caramel in chopped nuts. Place glasses in refrigerator to cool the caramel.
In a blender add ice cream, apple cider, caramel sauce, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add more ice cream or cider to get your favorite consistency. Blend until creamy and pour in glasses.
Garnish your shake with whipped cream, apple slices and drizzle with more caramel sauce. Then enjoy!
