Ingredients
- 2 C. of Fresh Cantaloupe, cut up in bite size pieces
- 1-2 oz. Silver Tequila
- Juice from Half a Lime
- ¼ C. Sparkling Water
- Lime Slices, Fresh Mint and Kosher Salt for Rim, optional
Step 1
Puree cantaloupe in a blender. We like to puree the pieces of entire cantaloupe when making these margaritas for a group.
Step 2
Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove any pulp. It's easy to use the back of a spoon to push the juice through the sieve.
Step 3
It's optional to rim the glass with kosher salt. Pour 1-2 ounces of tequila in cocktail glass over ice. Add 4 ounces cantaloupe juice and 2 ounces sparkling water.
Step 4
Squeeze the juice of half a lime and stir.
Step 5
Add a slice of lime and fresh mint to the top of the drink as garnish.
