- 4 Egg whites
- 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 tsp. Cream of Tartar
- Black Decorating Gel
- Chocolate Cupcakes
Preheat your oven to 200 degrees.
Whip the egg whites in the mixer for 2-3 minutes or until they become thick and frothy and slowly add in your sugar.
Lastly, mix in the Cream of Tartar.

Mix the ingredients until stiff (2-3 minutes) and add a layer of aluminum foil to the baking sheet and mist with the non-stick cooking spray.
Place the large round decorating tip into the icing bag and then spoon the meringue into the icing bag. Fill no more than half way.

Hold the icing bag vertically over the lined baking sheet and press the meringue down and make layered, spiral stacks to form the ghost shape.

Bake at 200 degrees for 40-45 minutes and then allow to completely cool.
Once cool, add your ghost face with the black decorating gel. You now have the cutest, most delicious little meringue ghosts!

Take your chocolate cupcakes and place them in the Black & Orange Cupcake Wrappers and place the meringue ghosts on top!
We served our meringue ghost cupcakes atop Orange Polka Dot Dinner Plates and Boo Dessert Plates at our Birthday Boo Bash and they were a hit with all our guests!
