- Organic Silver Dollar Pancakes
- 1 pot of Crème Fraîche
- 1 pot of Caviar or Roe
- 4 oz Smoked Salmon
- 4 oz Capers
- Dill
- 1 Lemon

Defrost the pre-made Trader Joe's Organic Silver Dollar Pancakes. When they are defrosted they are ready to use. Spread crème fraîche on the mini pancakes to taste. I like to leave a small non-crème fraîche border, allowing the pancakes to be seen at the edges.

Add a small amount of caviar or roe onto the crème fraîche. Barely a 1/4 teaspoon is needed. There are many tasty, affordable caviar and roe options. Keep in mind when storing the caviar to keep it cold and when serving never use metal. Adding the caviar with either a bone, mother-of-pearl spoon or plastic spoon to retain the delicate flavor.

For those who don't have a taste for caviar, add a small slice of smoked salmon onto the crème fraîche.

Add a small piece of dill on top of the caviar and smoked salmon. Caviar can also be served with white toast, slices of boiled potato. All options are just as delicious!

Lemon should not be used on caviar, save the lemon for the smoked salmon. Capers and a squeeze of lemon are a great alternative topper for the smoked salmon.

Place the finished hors-d'oeuvres onto a Premium Round Plastic Serving Tray With Diamond Cut Edge. I then placed this tray on a Gold Diamond Rim Clear Charger for extra glam and to tie in with the place settings of my Russian Fairytale Inspired Bridal Shower. I also added plain silver dollar pancakes for guests who prefer to serve themselves.

I used a Mini Square Appetizer Bowl for "serve your own" crème fraîche and a Mini Diamond Cut Plastic Pedestal Dish with ice and caviar. I served the caviar in the original jar with a plastic spoon. This is traditional as it represents the freshness of the caviar.
Finally, these dishes were placed on top of a tray with handles, allowing me to pass to guests at my Russian Fairytale Inspired Bridal Shower. Be sure to check out how to Create your own Vodka and Caviar Tasting Bar and my DIY Faberge Egg Place Card Holders.
