- For the Blackberry Juice:
- 16 oz. Frozen Blackberries
- 1/2 c. Water
- Simple Blackberry Syrup:
- 1 c. Water
- 1 c. Sugar
- For the Bewitching Blackberry Cocktail:
- 4 oz. Blackberry Juice
- 2 oz. Vodka
Thaw the blackberries and place in a medium-sized saucepan with 1/2 cup water. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat and allow to simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the berries are soft. Remove the berries from heat and then mash with a potato masher or a similar kitchen tool.

Pour the blackberry juice through a mesh strainer. Store in an air tight container for 24 hours.

Mix together 4 oz of your homemade blackberry juice, 1 oz. simple syrup and 2 oz. vodka and then pour over ice. Serve your Bewitching Blackberry Cocktail to all those who dare to try it!
