Use a tiny drop of hot glue to lightly secure Round Unfinished Wood Beads to a Bamboo Skewer.

Paint the beads with a flat-bristled paintbrush and acrylic paint. Once the beads are dry, remove the beads from the skewer.

Thread the Baker's Twine through a large-eyed needle. Thread the following onto the twine: one small bright colored wood bead, two unfinished wood beads, one painted bead, two unfinished wood beads, and one yarn pom-pom. We alternated different colors of poms and beads for a fun, whimsical look.

Make the garland as long as you need and tie the ends of the cording into loops to make the garland easier to hang.

We hung our DIY Christmas garland on our Grinch Themed Christmas Party buffet table but this DIY holiday garland would make a perfect addition to your mantel or holiday shelf.
