To begin, download and print the "On Cloud Wine" Printable Poster. The poster measures 18" x 24" so it will require professional printing. Upload the PDF to the online printing service of your choice, or take it to your local print shop. I typically send the posters to my local print shop and they have it ready for me by the next day. Once you have your poster, use poster mounting strips to secure it to the wall. Use a level to be sure it's hung straight!

Next, unfold Ginger Ray Gold & White and My Mind's Eye™ Coral Hanging Fans and pin them open using the paper clips that are included in the packaging. Lay the fans out on the floor to get an idea of how you'd like them to be arranged on the wall, then add poster mounting strips to the back of each fan.

Starting at the top of the poster and working your way up and out, begin mounting the paper fans onto the wall. Be sure to follow the instructions on the poster mount packaging so that you get the best adhesion. If any of the fans overlap and don't touch the wall evenly, use rolled up pieces of masking tape to secure the layered top fans to the fans underneath.

Once all of the fans have been hung, it's time to create the "clouds" for the backdrop. Use a Hand-Held Balloon Pump to blow up 5" White Latex Balloons. To give you an idea of how many to blow up, I used 5-6 balloons per cloud and made three clouds. After you've blown up all of the balloons, take one and tie fishing line in a knot around the balloon knot. Set aside.

Next, take two individual balloons and tie the knots together. Set aside. Pick up the balloon that is tied to the fishing line. With that balloon at the top and the fishing line hanging downward, place the knots of the tied together balloons over the fishing line. Bring the fishing line up and around one of the tied together balloons, then up and around the second tied together balloon. Pull the fishing line and push the balloons tightly together. Repeat this process with two more tied together balloons.

Use a low temp glue gun to attach more balloons to fill in holes or make the clouds lay more evenly, if desired. Secure removable hooks to the ceiling where you would like your clouds to hang, then secure the clouds to the hooks using the fishing line.

Use your new backdrop as a photo booth for your party or set up a dessert table in front for a gorgeous display. Enjoy!
