
Add the white acrylic paint to a small container. Thin the paint with a small amount of water until the paint is runny.

Dip the paintbrush in the paint and then dab off the excess on a dry paper towel.

Lightly brush the paint on the terra cotta pots, making sure to vary the direction of the brush strokes.

Use a slightly damp paper towel to wipe off and smooth out the whitewashed look of your pots.
