Using a thin paintbrush, paint a black, circular outline around the Large Round Wood Centerpiece, leaving approximate 1/4" of space between the bark of the Wood Centerpiece and your paint line. Once the outline is done, fill in the interior of the circle with Black Acrylic Paint. Allow to dry.
Once the black paint has dried, take the Bistro White Chalk Marker and carefully write the quote, "They made him king of all the wild things" on the painted portion of the Wood Centerpiece. Try using a few different lettering techniques (cursive, block letters, shading) to really bring the quote to life! Make sure to leave a bit of space above the word "king" for some detail to be added in our next step.
Take one of the Gold Foil Crowns and cut it down to a size that fits the allotted space on the centerpiece above the word "king" in your quote. Add some Glue to the back of the crown and adhere it to the Centerpiece.
Hot Glue a bit of Green Moss around the edge of the Centerpiece and then display your new DIY Where the Wild Things Are Wood Sign! We set ours in our "crowning station" where each little guest could proudly crown themselves king of all the wild things!
