Tear your pieces of tissue paper so that they will have an uneven edge. If you’re going to create a watermelon design like I did, use your single hole punch to make little black dots.
Coat a section of your bracelet with a thick layer of Mod Podge®. Gently press your first piece of tissue paper and smooth it out. Be careful or it will tear.
Coat the inside of the bracelet with Mod Podge® and wrap the tissue paper around to the inside of the bracelet.
Once you’ve finished decoupaging pieces of green tissue paper, layer some pink tissue paper on top. Follow the same steps as above until your whole bracelet is covered in tissue paper. Coat everything in a thin layer of Mod Podge®.
While this is still wet, attach the black circles to the pink tissue paper to create a watermelon inspired pattern. And enjoy!
I love how these turned out, and if you’re looking for wood craft ideas these bracelets are a lot of fun. There are so many different patterns you could create, but I think a confetti inspired one would be amazing. This project could also easily make a fun kids craft as well.
