Fill a paper snack cup with clean tap water. Liberally wet the watercolor pigments in the case with paint brushes to activate the paint.

Use a plastic paint palette (or the underside of the plastic paint tray cover itself) to mix pigments into custom colors. Brush each color on a clean sheet of watercolor paper in rough block shapes to see how your colors coordinate with one another. Make sure to have paper towels handy to clean your paint brush between colors!

To avoid a finished art print that looks buckled and wrinkled, you need to stretch your watercolor paper first. Do so by wetting the entire surface of each sheet of paper with a damp sponge, then allow each to dry. Next, cover your stretched paper with abstract designs using a watercolor paint brush and the paint you mixed in Step 2.
Swipe to see four of the prints we created to demonstrate the look. If you want to skip the painting step, feel free to download all four of the prints you see pictured (plus the color palette sample sheet that we ended up framing as art!).

Allow the finished watercolor art prints to dry for several hours before handling.

Finish by taping your watercolor art behind glass in frames, and hang them on the wall above your bar vignette (styling details this way!).
