Begin by cutting a circle out of wax paper, about an inch in diameter larger than your mini embroidery hoop.

Using pretty washi tape, create a pattern of lines down the wax paper circle.

Continue adding washi tape until the whole wax paper circle is covered. Try making a pattern with 3 or so colors.

Place the wax paper tightly between the embroidery hoop pieces leaving about an 1 inch diameter around the hoop. Once together, tighten the hoop at the top.

Turn over the embroidery hoop and using scissors, cut off the extra wax paper pieces.

To finish off the Washi Tape Suncatcher, tie pretty black and white ribbon at the top of the embroidery hoop. Use this ribbon to attach the suncatcher to a window.

Hang and display your pretty Washi Tape Suncatcher in a favorite window.
