Start by decorating the top of your box with the washi tape. I chose to cover half of my lid with diagonal stripes, but you can decorate yours however you’d like!

Wrap your washi tape around the edges of the lid and smooth down flat with your finger.

You can use a craft knife to cleanly trim the edges of the washi tape if you want.

Once you’ve added your washi tape now it’s time for the fun part – coloring it! I used fine point Sharpie® markers to color mine.

You can use letter stickers to personalize your box with a name or label it with its contents. These letter stickers are super colorful!

The box holds my Sharpies® and washi tape perfectly for lots more coloring projects to come!
Be sure to check out our other Supply of the Month projects including these projects using color-your-own washi tape.
