Begin by creating a fun and festive sign to inform guests they need to get into the mood by grabbing a prop and getting merry! I decorated a chalkboard easel by attaching two pieces of faux mountain grass to the top right and lower left corners of the easel using hot glue. Finish by adding a frosted pine cone in the center of each. Next, I added white vinyl lettering to the easel. If you have a Cricut, you can find the cut file here. Alternatively, you could easily hand-letter the wording with a chalk marker or with white paint by following the directions here. The easel was placed on the truck's tailgate next to a rustic wooden star that had been lightly white washed with white acrylic paint.

Next, I embellished a white washed wooden ornament with some of the same details as the easel. I started by adding a navy blue satin bow to the ornament, then hot glued two pieces of faux mountain grass and a frosted pine cone in the center. The ornament was hung over the back window of the vintage truck along with a mountain grass and pinecone garland, which was made by attaching pieces of faux mountain grass together with floral wire. Removable plastic hooks held all the items nicely on the truck and didn't take any paint off once removed.

To add a bit of texture and coziness to the vintage truck, I created two versions of burlap pillows. The wreath version was created by adding simple leaves to the pillow square, which were cut from white felt, in a circle. I traced a small dessert plate to ensure I had a perfect circle, then hot glued the leaves directly onto the line. Be sure insert a piece of paper inside the pillow square so it is not accidently glued together. You can find the template for the leaf here. The tree version was created by tracing the Christmas Tree template, found here, onto white felt and then attaching to the pillow square with hot glue. Mini white pom poms were then hot glued onto the tree as ornaments. Both were stuffed with polyfil once completed.

You can't have a photo booth without the props! Wedding party photo props were tucked inside a white ceramic gold trimmed vase along with some faux mountain grass for guests to easily grab and get merry. A white lantern sat nearby and was filled with faux snow and a flameless candle. The lantern was topped with the same faux mountain grass and frosted pinecone as the easel and wooden ornament to tie the look together. A wooden snowflake added to the festive holiday feel.

The whole look was pulled together by layering a navy and emerald green blanket atop a bolt of burlap fabric in the back of the vintage truck and then piling cozy pillows on top.
