Begin by decorating heart boxes to resemble conversation hearts. We painted ours in a combination of light pink, light blue, pale green, yellow and lavender. Once the paint was dry, we added the word "yay" to each. Our letters were made using a cutting machine and pink vinyl, but you could use a pink Sharpie® Marker to write the words directly onto the hearts as well.

Next, fill each box with Colorful Easter Grass in a shade to match the gender of the baby; blue for a boy and pink for a girl. Add an assortment of color coordinating candies such as Sweetart Valentine Hearts Candy, Pink Caramel Chocolate Balls, Pink Foil Wrapped Chocolate Hearts and Cookies and Cream Hearts. Set the boxes aside.

To create the game, first tape two foam boards together on the long end. Repeat with two more foam boards then tape all four pieces together by lining up the short ends as shown.

Draw a heart shape to fill the entire area of the boards. Use an Exacto knife to carefully cut the heart shape out.

Paint one half of the heart light pink and the other half light blue.

While the paint on the heart is drying, fill pink and blue latex balloons with It's A Boy Confetti and It's A Girl Confetti. Inflate the balloons in various small sizes using a Hand Held Balloon Pump. You will need 35-40 balloons, depending upon the sizes, to cover the heart. To keep everyone guessing until the very end, add some pink confetti to the blue balloons and blue confetti to the pink balloons.

If you don't want to attach the game directly to your wall, hot glue long strands of Gold Sparklet Glitter Ribbon to two points on the top portion of the heart to tie the heart onto a hook or nail.

Now add the balloons to the foam board heart using a small dab of hot glue. Continue adding balloons until the whole surface is covered.

Hang the balloon covered foam board heart onto your wall using either the ribbon added in Step 7, or with a few pieces of Double Sided Foam Tape. We added a simple balloon arch above our heart using 16" Pastel Pearl Assortment Latex Balloons and 11" Pastel Pearl Assortment Latex Balloons. Attach inflated balloons to a Balloon Strip to easily create a balloon installation above your heart.

Fill a Mini Square Appetizer Bowl full of straight pins or safety pins to pop the balloons and set them beside the conversation heart prize boxes.

Once the guests have submitted their guesses at the Valentine's Gender Reveal Voting Station, allow everyone to take turns popping the balloons! Use the free printable Gender Reveal Balloon Pop Game Tally Sheet to keep track of the number of each balloons filled with pink or blue confetti. The color with the most tallies after all balloons have popped will indicate whether the baby's gender is a boy or girl.

Finally, send each of the guests who guessed the gender correctly home with a prize box!
