Paint the quart jar using either white craft paint or white spray paint. Allow paint to dry and apply a second coat. Be sure and paint the jar ring too.

Use the Neon Yarn to create the unicorn's mane. Tie all four colors together in a knot. Clip the end clean with the knot and glue with a hot glue gun onto the jar ring. Leave about a fourth of the ring open for the ears and the horn.

Download the free Unicorn Mason Jar Printable here! You will want to print off the horn template and the ears. To create the horn you will need the template, a piece of cardstock and Gold Glitter Contact Paper. Take the backing off the contact paper and place your cardstock on one side. Fold the contact paper over so both sides of the cardstock are now covered in gold glitter. Trace and cut the horn out of the contact paper.

Use the hot glue gun to attach the ears to the jar ring in the open space. Slightly fold the bottom of the horn up and glue on the folded part so the horn will stand up.

From the printable cut out the eyes. To make tracing the eyes onto the jar simple, turn the eyes paper over and scribble with a pencil on the back. Then place the template on the jar and trace over the eyes with a pencil. The pencil on the back will stick to the jar and leave you the eye shape that you can then trace with a black Sharpie®.

The last step is to add cheeks onto our unicorn. I traced a quarter onto the jar where I wanted the cheeks with a pencil. Then using a light pink paint and a paint brush I filled in the circle to create cheeks.

Fill the bottom with Irridescent Metallic Shred and add candy to the top.
