Lay out 16 green paper plates in four rows, four plates per row. On 13 of the plates, add a white adhesive letter sticker (one sticker for each plate) to spell out TWO PEAS IN A POD.

Cut six six-inch segments off of an ivy garland. Using clear tape, affix three of the segments around the edge of one green plate. Attach the remaining three ivy segments around another plate.

Inflate four green balloons just slightly so that they remain small. Using a couple loops of clear tape, stick two balloons to each plate to represent "Two Peas in a Pod."

Now we are going to make a large "Two Peas in the Pod" balloon display that can be used as a centerpiece or under a party table or gift table. Inflate a green mylar link balloon using a straw.

Inflate two green latex balloons and using a black permanent marker, draw sleepy baby eyelashes and smiles on them. Cut two "leaves" out of the leftover green paper plates. Insert the green balloon babies and the leaves into the mylar balloon. Using a few tape loops, secure everything in its proper place. Voi-la - two peas in a pod!

Using tape loops, affix the green paper plates to the wall above your party table to match the picture above. You will need more tape loops on the back of the garland and balloon covered plates because they are a bit heavier than the letter plates. Place your "Two Peas in a Pod" balloon centerpiece on top of or under your party table. Be sure to check out my full Two Peas in a Pod Twins Baby Shower to get more ideas!
