First, paint the bottom of the paper bowl with brown tempura paint.

Cut a small triangle nose from orange craft foam, a small red rain drop shape from red craft foam and two slightly different circles from the brown craft foam. Glue the nose, wattle and googly eyes onto the smaller circle. Attach the smaller circle to the larger circle and glue on the paper bowl body.

Using a piercing tool, punch holes into the paper bowl you painted. Make sure the tool pierces holes no larger than the stem of the feathers you will be using. Using Sharpies®, color code the holes.

With the feathers, have kids match the color of the feather to the color of the hole on the body of the paper bowl turkey. This is a great fine motor activity for kids.
