Use a hot glue gun to glue bamboo straws onto a glass hurricane vase, one straw at a time. Be sure to stand the vase up occasionally to make sure that the straws are straight along the bottom of the vase so they cover the entire base and top. Continue gluing until the entire vase is covered in straws. I used three packages to cover my vase.

Use a knife to carefully cut a block of floral foam so that it fits inside the vase. The shape doesn't have to be perfect since no one will be seeing it. Place the foam inside the vase.

Add two Large Palm Leaves to the vase by sticking their wire ends into the foam to hold them in place.

Now add a few Medium Palm Leaves to the vase in front of the larger leaves.

Place a peony bouquet inside the vase in front of the leaves. The bouquet comes tied together so you can just place the entire bouquet inside - no arranging necessary!

Tuck in a few single flowers into the bouquet to add some color. I included a yellow rose and some smaller light green and white flowers. Gorgeous white plumeria flowers gave a tropical feel to the flower arrangement and were easy to add using the clip on the back.

Proudly display this Bamboo Floral Centerpiece at a Tropical First Birthday Party, a Tropical Flamingo Pool Party, or even as a pretty summer decoration.
Be sure to check out our Tropical Lei Stand and Candy Kabob Treats to go with the tropical flowers!
