Download the Free Thanksgiving Prompts Printable here and print it onto 8 1/2" x 11" white cardstock. Note that there are several blank shapes that you can use to write your own family traditions in! Cut the prompts out that you'd like to cross off your list using scissors.

Choose a selection of Burlap Leaf Shapes from the package that will fit the sizes of prompts you cut out in Step 1. Lay them on sheets of 8 1/2" x 11" Cream Cardstock and trace around the leaf shapes leaving a 1/2-inch border of plain paper around the leaf.

Cut the traced leaf shapes out using scissors.

Use a Sponge Paintbrush to spread Aleene's® Original Tacky Glue® on the back of each burlap leaf, and press firmly into the center of the leaf's respective cream paper counterpart.

Use more tacky glue to attach the cut prompts from Step 1 in the center of each leaf.

Allow the leaves to dry completely overnight, and then attach them to a found tree branch using Clothespins. Place the now-leafy branch in a Half-Gallon Cylinder Jar with rocks. Style the finished DIY Thanksgiving Tree Branch Decor in the center of your dining room table or on a console table alongside other fall decor, like Gold-Dipped White Pumpkins and Battery-Operated Round Flameless Candles. Then, as the season progresses, challenge yourself and your family to complete the prompts leading up to Thanksgiving. Once all of the leaves have been completed and tucked away until next year, you'll be left with a beautiful sculptural tree branch that's perfect for wintertime decor!
