Use a pair of scissors to cut out the design from the Sweet Fall dinner napkins. Once you have cut out the design, you can separate the top layer of the napkin from its backing. Lay the napkin cutout over a ceramic pumpkin and trim as necessary to fit the front of the pumpkin.

Use a foam brush to apply an even layer of Mod Podge® to the front of the pumpkin. Lay the napkin cutout over the front of the pumpkin and smooth out, moving outwards from the middle. Carefully smooth the napkin into the grooves of the pumpkin so that they are defined. Seal your design by covering the napkin with a thin layer of Mod Podge®. Repeat with your other pumpkins. I used six pumpkins for this centerpiece.

To add the word "gather" to the pumpkins, you can use these wood letters decorated with gold foil. Start by covering the front of each letter with gold foil adhesive. Once tacky, press a gold foil leaf sheet into the letter and brush away the excess. You can also add gold leaf to the stems of the pumpkins by applying the adhesive carefully with a small brush.

Finish the pumpkin centerpiece by hot gluing the letters to the front of the pumpkins.

Arrange your pretty pumpkins on a table or mantel, or use them for a centerpiece like I did for my Thanksgiving tablescape! Be sure to also check out the DIY Pumpkin Place Cards that do double-duty as napkin holders and place cards.
