Make a square frame with four wood crafts sticks. To do this, add a dot of tacky glue on the corners of two wood craft sticks. Then place two more wood craft sticks at the top and bottom of the tacky glue dots, connecting the sticks into a square shape. Set aside the frame for the glue to dry completely.
Use scissors or a paper cutter to cut out a 5 1/2-inch square from a piece of white cardstock.
Place a small amount of brown, red, yellow, orange and green Crayola® tempera paint on a paint palette or paper plate. Let children paint their handprint with chubby paintbrushes to create their turkey. Paint the thumb and palm of the hand with brown paint. Then paint the remaining fingers with red, yellow, orange and green paint.
Press the painted handprint on your white cardstock square to create a handprint turkey. Wash the paint off your hand.
Place a self-adhesive googly eye on the thumbprint of your handprint turkey craft.
Use markers to add details to your turkey like a beak and waddle. You can also add feet if there is room at the bottom of your handprint.
Add a thin line of tacky glue around the edge of the white cardstock square. Place your wooden craft stick frame on the glue to create a frame around your handprint turkey craft.
Turn your handprint turkey craft frame upside down and place two self-adhesive magnets on the frame.
Decorate the perimeter of the wooden craft stick frame with Silly Thanksgiving Self-Adhesive Shapes.
Place your turkey handprint craft up on display on your fridge for the Thanksgiving holiday.
