Draw cloud shapes onto blue foam for the students to cut out. As a class, make a list of adjectives that describe the sun. It’s helpful if you show pictures of the sun, or watch a video to get the students thinking about describing words.

After the students write an adjective on each cloud, have them tape a piece of twine to the back. I precut all of the twine to make it simple for the students to tape it onto the cloud. Using colorful washi tape allows the mobile craft to look cute from every angle!

Next tape twine to the back of the sun so they can be hung from the ceiling or window.

The last step is to tape the clouds to the sun! You could have the early finishers help those around them that need extra help taping the clouds to the sun.

Adjectives are a great way to make any craft come alive!
