Head outside to make sun prints according to the directions on the package of Nature Print® Sun-Sensitive Paper. It comes with 12 sheets of paper to make a variety of prints using leaves, flowers and other nature items from your backyard. Just place the nature item on the paper for two minutes in direct sun and then soak the paper in water for one minute. Let dry.
Paint the DIY Unfinished Wood Box Frames with colorful acrylic paint and a foam brush. Have fun decorating them however you like! Let dry.
Place a sun print in the wood box and create a crease where you will need to cut it to fit. Use scissors to cut your sun print to size.
Spread a thin layer of Mod Podge® or Elmer's glue on the inside of the wood box and then press the sun print paper onto the glue, smoothing down the paper with your fingers.
Fill your shadow boxes with your favorite nature treasures. You can display the boxes laying down or propped up!
