Start by measuring out the width of your stripes and tape them off in sections on the DIY Mini Drawstring Bags using washi tape. Be sure to press firmly so the paint does not seep underneath. I used 5 colors, which allowed for 1" stripes.

Start painting your stripes. I painted every other space to start then went back and reapplied the tape right along the edge once that color was dry. If the tape is not moved and reapplied, some of the natural color of the bag will become a stripe itself. Note: Adding a small piece of card stock inside the bags will keep the inside of the bag paint-free.

While the paint is drying, print and cut out shamrock shapes using the free printable under the supply list on the right, then trace onto a white foam sheet.

After cutting out the shamrock on the white foam sheet, apply a layer of gold glitter using Mod Podge®.

Once the paint and glitter have dried, adhere the shamrock to the bag using hot glue, centering it between the stripes.

To add a little bit of extra luck, spell out the word "Lucky" using White Round Alphabet Beads and attach to the middle of the shamrock with a dab of hot glue.

Finally, arrange one favor bag next to each place setting and fill with rainbow goodies. Be sure to check out my Pastel St. Patrick's Day Party, Shamrock and Rainbow St. Patrick's Day Sign and Leprechaun Trap Place Cards for more inspiration!
