Set out supplies. For each child provide a tray holding flower beads, pony beads and plastic bracelets.

Choose the beads to thread onto the bracelet. This is a great exercise in making patterns. My daughter is obsessed with patterns and had a lot of fun creating her own.

Thread the beads onto the bracelet. Since the plastic bracelet holds its shape, it is easy to thread the beads and the large end holds all the beads. Minimum coordination is required.

Bracelets are easily snapped closed onto little wrists. Preschoolers will need help with this step.

This would be a fun activity for play group or a birthday party! Be sure to have enough bracelets on hand that each child can make more than one bracelet, they won’t want to stop!
