Select 13 coordinating 12" x 12" scrapbook pages. On each page, measure out 3”x 3” squares. Each page makes 16 squares for 208 squares.
Take a 3" x 3" square and roll into a cone shape. Make sure the color and patterns are on the inside of the cone so we can see more color once the wreath is completed. For some interest, you may break up the color by rolling the cone with white on the inside. Fasten with a piece of tape along the edge of the paper. Repeat with all the squares.
Using your sharpie, draw a line down the center of the foam wreath form. Turn the form 90° and repeat. This will make a “+” that separates the form into four quadrants. This will help you map out the design.
Each quadrant will need at least 50 paper cones. Start by dividing the colors evenly so the patterns are evenly distributed.
Using a floral pin, pin the paper cones around the perimeter and the inside edge.
After you have your base completed, give the wreath dimension by overlapping and pinning the cones. Repeat this step 3 times until you are satisfied with the fullness.
Move on to the other 3 quadrants and repeat steps 5 and 6. If you have left over cones, find appropriate spaces and add them in. If you are short cones, repeat steps 1 and 2.
