Start creating your DIY backdrop and dessert display by taping up the Space Galaxy Backdrop on your wall. We used double stick tape but feel free to use any tool you don't mind sticking to your wall. The backdrop comes in three pieces. We overlapped them to ensure no wall peeked through our galaxy.
After the Space Galaxy Backdrop has been hung, layer a table in Lime Green Plastic Tablecloth Roll and a Outer Space Plastic Tablecloth. We used our tablecloth as a table runner and left it partially folded to achieve this look.
Now, add a planet detail to the front of your table by securing a Space Party Cutout to the table with some double stick tape.
Next, blow up the Inflatable Solar System and an Inflatable Space Shuttle.
Set up your backdrop stand and camouflage it with an Lime Green Plastic Tablecloth Roll. We held ours in place with a few pieces of well-placed tape. Secure the planets to the backdrop stand at varying heights using a bit of fishing line. Make sure your planets go in order of distance from the sun!
Next, secure the space shuttle with some fishing line. We placed ours so it was flying around the Earth but you can have your rocket ship exploring and depths of the solar system!
Now that the backdrop is set up it's time to move on to the dessert display! Start by setting up a Space Party Rocket Cupcake Stand in the center of the table.
For an easy and kid-approved treat, add lime jello to Tiny Pedestal Clear Cups and insert a Space Party Cupcake Pick for extra decor. We loved that the jello color matched our space themed supplies.
Display some Space Party Planet Suckers in a DIY stand. We glued wooden balls to a piece of wood and drilled holes to create our inexpensive stands. The planet lollipops looked perfect against the poster backdrop.
Whip up our simple and delicious Galaxy Cookie Bark Recipe and display it in Lime Green Candy Buckets with Ribbon Handle on each end of the table for guests to grab and go! You can find our recipe for this no bake dessert here!
