Help each child apply some glue from a glue stick to the back of each snowflake doily and place on a canvas or water color paper. This isn't meant to stick on the whole time, just to provide a stencil for the snowflake pattern.

Give each child a set of washable watercolor paints and let them begin to paint all over the canvas or watercolor paper. Encourage them to cover the canvas completely and try to get into each of the small doily spaces.

Once the canvas, or watercolor paper, is completely covered, help the children carefully remove the snowflake doilies from the canvas.
Each canvas will look different and unique much like a snowflake.
