Have your child pick out their favorite figurines. I used the forest animal action figures. They are a “soft”, hollow material which made it easy to use the eye screws without having to pre-drill a hole.

Apply a small amount of pressure with the eye screw into the toy figurine. Begin to twist in the eye screw, until all threading is no longer visible. If your plastic figures are super hard, you can use a small drill bit to pre-drill the hole.

Once the eye screws are in, choose your favorite holiday colors and spray paint each figurine. Allow to dry completely. Make sure to use a well ventilated area and leave this step to mom! We used metallic gold and silver spray paint. You could also use some “glitter blast” spray paint to add sparkle!

Once the ornament figurines have dried, cut a small piece of holiday bakers twine or floral wire and tie a loop through the screw for hanging. Wire ornament hooks will work too.
