Make your vine. Take a roll of green paper streamer and start twisting it together into a vine. Keep twisting until your vine is as long as you need your garland to be.

Make your flowers. Take a roll of crepe paper streamer. We used a variety of pink, orange, and yellow streamers to make our flowers, but this garland would look beautiful in a variety of different color combinations using streamers. Accordion fold your crepe paper streamer into a square, about six folds deep.

Use your scissors to cut your leaf shape out of the accordion folded crepe paper streamers. You will be able to cut out six flower petals all at once, making this project a lot faster.
Tip: You can cut a variety of different petal shapes to create different looking flowers.

Take your floral tape with three of your cut petals. Wrap the floral tape around the base of your flower petals to create the start of your flower.

Carefully add the remaining three petals, one at a time, until you’ve added all six petals to your flower. Keep twisting the floral tape past the end of your flower to create a stem on your flower. Once you’ve made all of your flowers, use the little stem on each flower to tie it onto your green vine.

You can also add the tissue flowers from the White Favor Boxes with Pink Tissue Flower craft kit. To add the tissue paper flowers, simply stick them onto the vine with the double sided tape that is already provided.

After you’ve completed your DIY crepe paper garland to hang over your food table, you can just imagine all the other Easter decorations or other party decoration ideas you could use this garland for. It would make a beautiful chair decoration, a fun table runner, or even a beautiful addition to your mantel.
