First, you will need to print and cut the "Shine for Jesus" printable. Download the Free Shine for Jesus Printable here!

Then, have students write about a way that they can shine their light for Jesus! It's good to brainstorm some of these ideas together before doing the writing. The printable also has Matthew 5:16 on the bottom of it, which works great as a memory verse for the kids to learn.

Hand out a Christian Pumpkin Crinkle Tissue Paper Craft Kit to each student. They will also need to have a pencil, which makes it easier to stick the tissue paper onto the pumpkin by using the eraser to push down the tissue paper. I love that these kits have everything students need to make their pumpkins and that the pumpkin is self-adhesive, so that the pieces stick right to it! You can also peel off the stem, cross, and pumpkin separately if that makes it easier for your students to know where each of the pieces go.

Have students glue their pumpkin onto the left side of a piece of black construction paper, and then glue their "Shine for Jesus" writing to the right side. These make great displays or can be sent home for students to remember to shine their light for Jesus!
